Our Statement of Faith

I. We believe that the only true and living God is the God revealed in the Bible.

II. We believe that God is one in substance but three in manifestation: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

III. We believe this triune God to be sovereign in the universe, to have created all things, to have existed from eternity, and to possess equally all the attributes of deity including: infinite love, absolute wisdom, perfect holiness, and unlimited power.

IV. We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, who came to Earth by way of a virgin; that He lived a sinless life and died a vicarious, substitutionary death for the sins of all mankind; that He arose bodily from the grave and lives today at the right hand of the Father, making daily intercession for all believers.

V. We believe the Holy Spirit to be the third person of the Trinity, that He was and is the agent of God's power, that He came to dwell permanently in the lives of believers at Pentecost, that all believers are baptized by Him into the body of Christ at the moment they believe. We believe He fills, empowers and distributes service gifts to believers, but that sign gifts were restricted to the Apostolic period. He makes known to the believer all things relating to Christ and guides him into the truth.

VI. We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God, completely inerrant in its original manuscripts; that its purity has been safeguarded through the years, and is our only authority and guide for morals and practice.

VII. We believe that all men are sinners by nature and practice and are in need of redemption and regeneration.

VIII. We believe that salvation from sin is wholly by the grace of God; that salvation was purchased by the death and resurrection of Christ and is available to all men, entirely apart from human merit or effort.

IX. We believe that the redemption purchased by the shed blood of Christ is available to all men everywhere. We believe that while all men are spiritually depraved and can in no way save themselves, they nevertheless have a God-given will whereby they are able to repent toward God, believe the Gospel, receive Christ, and be saved.

X. We believe that the great commission and the great thrust of missions is a rescue ministry, snatching brands from the burning and winning as many souls as possible before inevitable judgement.

XI. We believe in the imminent return of Christ for His Church, all believers since Pentecost, whom He has purchased with His blood; that the Church will rise to meet Him in the air to be forever with Him, and that this event will precede the period called "The Tribulation".

XII. We believe that Christ will then return to Earth in power and great glory and that He will reign over the whole earth, bringing in an age of peace and righteousness.
